Massimo Castagna graduated in Architecture in 1984 at the Politecnico of Milan. He begins his professional career in 1986 founding his studio AD Architettura dealing with architecture and interior design.
Amongst the major achievements, the semi permanent laboratory “Piramide” built for CNR National Research Council, installed in Nepal since 1991 at an altitude of 5050 mt., used as a high altitude research laboratory and selected for the 18^ Milan Triennale.
In 1991 he starts his activity in the furniture field following projects and consulting for the creation and refurbishment of retail outlets of furniture and begins the collaboration with companies in the furniture industry. Amongst the most important clients: Minotti, armchairs and sofas (exhibition design and product), Rossana RB Kitchens (artistic direction, exhibition design and products) Roda Interior Garden design (artistic direction, exhibition design) Ceccotti Collezioni (artistic direction, exhibition design and product) Acerbis International (product).
Since 2000 he teaches master of “Interior Manager” organized by Federmobili at Polidesign Milan. Various are the achievements of architecture and interior design as private residential homes, hotels, facilities for tourism, shops and commercial buildings.
